Welcome to our community trades employment offerings site. These are job opportunities presented by local employers and organizations that offer Skilled Trades BC apprenticeships. Employment is secured by students with parental/guardian permission directly with employers or organizations. SD62 does not hire or place students directly but does share opportunities that aligns with school programming. If you are an employer with an opportunity please contact our district careers team. 

Students
Please contact employers directly about summer work or visit your high school's Career Center. Belmont, Royal Bay, EMCS and Westshore Grade 11-12 STUDENTS and GRADUATES WELCOME. 
*Must be 15- 18 as of June 30th 2023. You are eligible if you turn 19 after July 1st 2023

Get paid, earn up to 16 Gr. 11/12 Credits and a Youth Work in Trades $1000 Award!
